Established in 2005, Diversity Recruitment Partners (DIVERSITY in Ed) connects career-seeking teachers of color and diverse backgrounds with public, private, charter, independent schools and higher-ed institutions committed to diversity recruitment and hiring. The connections are made through DIVERSITY in Ed’s multimedia platforms including a national print and digital magazine publication, job boards, and virtual recruitment fairs.

The mission of DIVERSITY in Ed is to connect schools, districts and higher-ed institutions with teachers of color and diverse languages, cultures and backgrounds to reflect their student body.

Our vision is to create an equal opportunity for every student of color to be educated by a teacher of the same color or culture.

Magazine Circulation & Distribution

DIVERSITY in Ed Magazine is distributed electronically to more than 1,100 universities and colleges nationwide on a biannual basis (Fall-October and Spring-March). While in print, over 25,000 copies were distributed on a controlled request basis (free) to more than 500 HBCUs, Hispanic serving institutions and U.S. Newsweek’s (listed) Top Colleges/Universities through the education departments and career service offices. The magazine was also distributed at various career fairs and confrences to members of professional teaching organizations.
