The office of graduate admission serves all prospective graduate students by providing initial enrollment information on behalf of the graduate programs. The graduate admission team works in partnership with the various program directors and department chairs to provide prospective students with inquiry fulfillment services, application processing, enrollment commitment, and initial enrollment services. The academic programs provide advising, orientation, and ongoing enrollment services. We welcome your emails, telephone calls, or personal visits to our main campus or graduate centers.
President's Council on Equity and Inclusion
The President’s Advisor Council on Equity and Inclusion was established in 2017 with a mission of educating leaders, both at and produced by Loyola, for a diverse and changing world with a commitment to diversity as a necessary component of academic excellence. Made up of administrators, faculty and staff, the advisory council explores and issues recommendations to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion at the university.

Loyola’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program offers a course of study that provides initial teacher certification and is designed to prepare exceptionally qualified teachers who are responsive to the needs of diverse learners. Offered for both full-time and part-timeenrollment, the MAT program offers a rich integration of coursework, clinical experience, and individualized attention. Students become educators committed to the development of all children—with particular attention paid to those who have been underserved.
With visionary leadership and synergy with the ideals of Loyola University Maryland and its School of Education, the Center for Innovation in Urban Education (CIUE) strives to participate in local and national conversations about urban education.
