The Affirmative Action Office is responsible for the planning and implementation of district initiatives to create positive and result-oriented programs designed to remedy patterns and practices of discrimination in employment and educational services.
The purpose of the Affirmative Action Office is to provide staff and students with opportunities for equity and equality, and to provide a forum to address and resolve grievances.
The primary goal of Affirmative Action is to ensure that women and minorities are widely represented in all occupations and at all organizational levels. Planning and acting to end the absence of certain kinds of people-those who belong to groups that have been subordinated or left out-from certain jobs and schools.
La Misión del Programa Bilingüe e Inglés como Segundo Idioma (ESL) es el de proveer a los estudiantes con limitaciones del idioma Ingles en el distrito escolar de Camden, una instrucción de alta calidad a través de la enseñaza en su idioma nativo y en Ingles. Esto facilitará integración en la comunidad y ayudara a convertirles en ciudadanos responsables.
El Programa Bilingüe y de Ingles como Segundo Idioma (ESL) sigue un desarrollo natural y provee servicios a los niños con limitación en el idioma Ingles en los grados PreK – 12th. El Programa es de transición mutilinguistico y multicultural.

About Us


Under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent Taryn Fletcher, the Division of School Support works to provide schools the instructional and operational assistance they need to ensure great teaching and learning takes place in every District classroom.

The Division is responsible for curriculum development, professional development, school operations, special education, and bilingual education.
