MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
Licenses and Certifications
Possession of a Speech-Language Pathology License from the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
The work of this class is generally performed in school, community setting, and office environments. Work includes the operation of office equipment, including personal computers, assistive technology and occasional limited physical activities. Requires independent travel to school, community settings, and offices throughout the county.
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Requires attendance at after-school and evening meetings and events.
Persons in this position classification will be required to apply for a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number with the National Plan & Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) and enroll as a Maryland Medicaid Provider through the Maryland Department of Health’s Provider Revalidation and Enrollment Portal (ePREP).

SALARY: $63,490 - $119,522
OTHER COMPENSATION: Position may be eligible for relocation bonus, extra duty activities pay, or other student activities pay as defined in the applicable Bargaining
Unit Agreement.
FLSA: Exempt
RETIREMENT: Eligible for membership in the Maryland State Retirement System.
This class specification defines the types of duties and level of difficulty of work required of positions in this title. It shall not be held to exclude duties not mentioned nor limit the right of management to assign work to employees.
