Integrated Arts Academy in the Burlington School District seeks a reliable  Student Activity Monitor who enjoys working with children while maintaining a safe school climate. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the IAA community and may already be working part-time in the district. 

 

Duties

  • Establish positive relationships with all students equally.
  • Teach and reinforce cafeteria expectations.

  • Teach and reinforce recess expectations.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other lunch monitors, teachers, and administration.

Work Hours:
This is a school-year position that begins August 27th, 2025.

Hours are 10:30am - 1:00pm on every school day. May vary depending on school schedule.

  • Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs.; pushing/pulling objects

  • Standing, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, balancing

  • Possible exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, fumes, or hazardous materials

  • Work at heights or around electrical/mechanical equipment

  • Basic sense of touch, smell, and taste
  • Works independently and collaboratively with regular face-to-face interaction
