Independent School Hiring Fair at The Potomac School
 

The Potomac School, a coeducational K-12 independent school, in partnership with the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington (AISGW) and Eastern Educational Resource Collaborative (East Ed), invites those interested in careers in independent schools to the:

14th Annual Hiring Fair
Saturday, February 7, 2026
The Potomac School, 1301 Potomac School Rd, McLean, VA 22101

Registration for candidates is free and bag lunches will be provided. There will also be transportation offered from the Union Station and Vienna metro stations. For more information and to register, please visit: potomacschool.org/hf

We expect more than 25 DC-area schools that enroll students from pre-K through 12th grade – including coeducational, single gender, and faith-based schools – will participate!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
11:00 am - 12:00 noon: Panel Discussion/Q&A
12:00 - 2:00 pm: Career Fair
2:15 - 3:15 pm: One-on-One Interviews

 

About The Potomac School

The hiring fair will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026.  

This event supports pathways to employment in the independent school sector and encourages community members from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives to attend.
 
Come join us and meet with more than 30 independent schools and over 100 candidates in the DMV area. Registration is free for all candidates. 
 
New this year, The Potomac School, will host a virtual resume writing session for hiring fair participants. This is a great opportunity for individuals transitioning to schools from other sectors to get tips on content for school related cover letters and resumes. This session will be held via Zoom, on January 10, 2026 at 1pm EST. Please select to attend when registering for the fair to allow us to gauge interest in this program.
